Similar to tennis but played on a badminton sized court with a paddle and wiffleball. Pickleball instructor/ supervisor on duty. Four regulation sized courts and four paddles available. Various moves can be adapted to all levels of intensities. Class format includes aerobic exercise, warm-up and cool-down, followed by strength toning, stretching, and relaxation. Classes are held 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. Instructed by Geraldine Pinkowsky. TAI CHI QUAN Tai Chi is one of the oldest forms of martial arts; it means supreme fist in Chinese. Tai Chi uses graceful movements that derive from nature to balance an individual’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Tai Chi has been proven to help self-esteem, depression, anxiety, reduce stress, and create calmness. In addition to the health benefits, there is also a self-defense application to every movement.
