The Parks and Recreation Department offers Open Gym at Kennedy Elementary School in the spring. This offers children and adults the opportunity to 'drop in' whenever they choose during that time frame. Check our fall/winter/spring activity guide for more information. The Department also offers adult women's , co-ed, and men's volleyball leagues that begin in the fall.
The Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association, offers discounted tickets to residents and neighbors for various attractions in Wisconsin. The Department offers tickets to many attractions in the Wisconsin Dells area (Mt. Olympus Theme and Water Park, Noah's Ark, and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf), as well as, the Milwaukee County Zoo. Tickets are available for purchase at the Parks and Recreation Department mid-May through the September 1. A complete listing of ticket prices is available in the Department’s summer activity guide, or you may call the Department to inquire about a particular attraction.
Refunds will be allowed 2 days prior to the start of a program. An administrative charge of $10.00 will be assessed for refunds meeting this criteria. To avoid the administrative fee, you may apply the refund as a credit to your account to be used towards a future registration.
Illness and/or injury refunds are allowed after the start and before completion of 50% of a program. Fifty percent of the program will be assessed as an administrative charge for refunds meeting these criteria. Refunds are not allowed after completion of 50% of a program.
Refunds will not be allowed after completion of 50% of a program. Full refunds will be given for Department cancelled programs such as insufficient registration for a particular class. Prorated credit toward future registrations will be given for Department-cancelled program dates.
The Parks and Recreation Department urges you to call prior to the start of any program your child may not be able to attend. This allows the Department to fill any vacancies with children that may have been placed on a waiting list.
