Amber Thomas started as the Public Works Director and Village Engineer in August of 2016. Prior to this she worked as a Project Manager for Collins Engineers, Inc. in Milwaukee. Amber has over 13 years of Project Management and engineering experience working on DOT projects. She has inspected all aspects of transportation projects as well as led teams as the Construction Manager on a range of projects including complex mega projects.
Mrs. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from Western Michigan University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Wisconsin. She is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction, and current Milwaukee Chapter President. In her free time Amber loves spending time with her family, running and playing volleyball.
