Notice is hereby given by the Village of Grafton, Wisconsin by the undersigned Director of Parks and Recreation that it will receive bids for creation of River Bend Park in the Village of Grafton, as follows:

CONTRACT # 21-04:         

            General Construction including:
                        Grading and Erosion Control
                        Parking Lot/Walkway Paving
                        Sanitary Sewer
                        Water Main

Specifications and contract documents may be downloaded from the Village of Grafton website:  www.QualityLifeGrafton.com/bids for no charge.

Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. on the 8th day of April, 2021 at the Municipal Services Facility at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All bids shall be addressed to The Village of Grafton, 675 North Green Bay Road, Grafton, WI  53024, and shall be enclosed with the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid is being submitted on the outside of the sealed envelope.

Work shall be completed in the 2021 construction season, timed with the adjoining subdivision construction. 

Bidders shall file Contractor’s Qualification Statement 7 calendar days prior to bid opening.

A certified check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Grafton in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent or more than ten (10%) percent of the bid shall accompany each bid as guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the Contract Performance Bond and Insurance Certificate as required by this contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village.

The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding or accept any bid or bids which, in the opinion of the Village, shall serve the Village's best interest.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time and date set for the opening thereof, without the consent of the Village.
