Voter Registration
Are you voting for the very first time? Have you recently moved? Have you changed your name? You have several options...
How to Register:
MyVote: On the MyVote Wisconsin website, you can register to vote, check your voter registration status, find your polling place, see your sample ballot, request an absentee ballot, view your Elected Officials, and check provisional ballot status. MyVote Wisconsin communicates with the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles database, so if you have recently moved, please change your address with the DMV first. Voter Registration can be done through MyVote Wisconsin up until the third Wednesday (or 20 days) prior to an Election.
By Mail: Completed Voter Registration Forms accompanied by an acceptable Proof of Residence can be accepted by mail up until the third Wednesday (or 20 days) prior to an Election. Please mail to: Village Clerk's Office, 860 Badger Circle, Grafton, WI 53024.
In-Person: Voters can register in person in the Clerk's Office, 860 Badger Circle, Grafton, using an acceptable Proof of Residence (an electronic version is acceptable) up until 5:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to an Election.
Election Day: Our Election Inspectors will be available to assist and process new voter registrations at each and every Election. You can save time by starting your registration at MyVote Wisconsin and printing out your registration form or we have blank forms available for you. Remember to bring an acceptable Proof of Residence along (an electronic version is acceptable). The Village of Grafton's Election Day polling location is Grace Lutheran Church, located at 715 Sixth Avenue, Grafton.
Proof of Residence:
Please see the Wisconsin Elections Commission Website for additional information on Voter Registration Guidelines and a list of acceptable Proof of Residence documents.
*New voters must have resided at their current address for 28 days before the election and have an acceptable Proof of Residence, before the resident is eligible to vote.
