Rules

Park Hours

Park hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm unless special hours are approved by the Parks and Recreation Board.

Exception

Robert P. Zaun Pavilion rentals are from 9:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m.

Park Restrooms will be closed for the winter season.


Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages are permitted in designated picnic areas, or other areas designated by the Parks and Recreation Board. Glass containers are prohibited.


Selling

Any person wishing to sell or dispense alcohol may do so only in designated areas and then only with the permission of the Parks and Recreation Board and by obtaining a license. A $10 license must be purchased from the Grafton Village Hall at 860 Badger Circle.


Animals

Animals are not allowed in Village parks (except for seeing-eye dogs).


Camping

Camping is prohibited.


Grills and Fires

No fires are allowed except in grills designated for that purpose. No grills are allowed underneath shelters or on any concrete or blacktopped areas. Portable fire pits are prohibited in all Village parks.


Swimming

No wading, swimming, or bathing is allowed in the Milwaukee River.


Firearms

No firearms or bows and arrows are allowed except in designated areas under licensed supervision.


Radios

Volume of radios and speakers must be kept at a moderate level in consideration of other park users.


Waterfowl

The feeding of waterfowl is prohibited. The Village is not responsible for any waste left behind by waterfowl.
