The Zoning Board of Appeals is a local body that is required by state law. By law, the Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five regular members and two alternates. The alternates act and vote when a regular member is absent or cannot vote because of personal interests. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets in odd numbered months (i.e., January, March, May, July, September, November) on the first Thursday, as needed. Applications are due four weeks prior to the meeting date.
