The responsibilities of the Inspection Department include:
- Enforcing local, state, and national building design and construction codes
- Establishing meeting schedules
- Conducting liquor license inspections
- Serving as resource staff for the following boards:
- Board of Cemetery Commissioners
- Electrical Licensing Board
- Architectural Review Board
- Zoning Appeals Board
