GRAFTON PARKS & RECREATION BOOKLET • FALL•WINTER•SPRING 2017/2018 6 PROGRAM INFORMATION PROGRAM REFUND POLICY 1 Refunds will be allowed 2 days prior to the start of a program. An administrative fee of $10.00 will be as- sessed for refunds meeting these criteria. Registrations paid by credit card will be credited back to the credit card less the administrative fee. To avoid the adminis- trative fee, you may apply the refund as a credit to your account to be used toward a future registration. 2 Illness and/or injury refunds will be allowed after the start and before completion of 50 percent of a program. Fifty percent of the program will be assessed as an administrative charge for refunds meeting this criteria. 3 Refunds will not be allowed after completion of 50 percent of a program. 4 Full refunds will be given for Department cancelled programs such as insufficient registration for a particular class. Prorated credit toward future registrations will be given for Department cancelled program dates. FACILITY USAGE REFUND POLICY 1 Refunds will be allowed 30 days prior to a park/ facility usage date. A $10.00 fee will be retained as an administrative charge. 2 For park cancellations less than 30 days prior to a park/facility usage date, 50 percent of the park fee will be retained as an administrative charge. 3 Refunds will not be granted on or after a park facility usage date. 4 Full refunds will be given if the Village of Grafton cancels a park reservation date. (i.e., closed due to repair or maintenance) FIND AN ERROR? The Parks and Recreation staff has made every effort to prepare this recreation guide as accurately as possible. However, changes or errors may occur in days, times, registration requirements or fees in our brochure. Should this occur, our staff will do everything possible to correct the situation. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Ice Skating Winter is just around the corner and along with it comes ice skating! Weather permitting, an unsupervised rink will be maintained at Veterans Memorial Park. Frosty The Snowman will be posted at the corner of Highway 60 and 13th Avenue to let you know if it is safe to skate. Conditions that determine the ice is safe for skating: 8” thick for skating 12” thick for plowing Open mid-December tomid-February (weather permitting)
