The park’s 9-hole golf course runs through and around trees, up and down hills, and along the Milwaukee River. Hole #1 tee pad is near the entrance to the park. Eye Glass/ Hearing Aid Drop Off Drop off your used eye glasses and hearing aids in the lobby of the Municipal Services Facility, 675 N. Green Bay Road. Leaf Collection Curbside leaf collection runs from October 16 through November 17, 2017. *There is no curbside leaf collection in the spring of the year. Grass, leaves, and garden waste are composted at the Residential Drop Site, 2266 Lakefield Road. The site is fully automated and access is available 7 days per week during daylight hours. An access card is needed, and may be obtained at the Public Works Department, 675 N. Green Bay Road. Canoe/Kayak Launch Veterans Memorial Park, 1000 13th Avenue, now offers an ADA compliant canoe and kayak launch adjacent to the Riverwalk. Personal canoes and kayaks must be carried to the launch.
