1. Are there any gyms where an adult can go and play basketball or volleyball?

Unfortunately, open gym times are not available due to the high demand for extra-curricular school activities and organized programming.

The Parks and Recreation Department does offer adult women’s, co-ed, and men’s volleyball leagues that begin in the fall and run until spring.

2. When will your summer or fall / winter / spring program booklet be available?

The Parks and Recreation Department’s summer booklet is available on-line in mid-April.

Limited quantities of the booklet are also available at the Village Hall, USS Liberty Memorial Public Library, and at the Department’s office.

3. Where is the Recreation Department / Senior Center located?

The Senior Center is located 1665 Seventh Avenue. Seventh Avenue runs parallel (one block west) to Wisconsin Avenue.

The Parks and Recreation Department is at 675 N. Green Bay Road in the Municipal Services Facility.

4. Where is the dog park in Grafton and how I do I find it?

The dog park, also known as “Muttland Meadows” is located in the Town of Grafton. It is a few hundred feet southwest of Lime Kiln Park on South Green Bay Road. For further information on this park, please call the Town of Grafton’s business office at 262/377-8500.

5. Who is the contact for youth recreational clubs: Little League, Gladiators, Soccer, etc.?

We receive many inquiries about other locally sponsored programs. 6. I heard you sell tickets for various attractions. What types of tickets do you sell, what is the cost, and when can I come in to buy them?

The Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association, offers discounted tickets to residents and neighbors for various attractions in Wisconsin. The Departments offers tickets to many attractions in the Wisconsin Dells area as well as the Milwaukee County Zoo, Great America, and Noah's Ark. Tickets are available for purchase on Fridays only at the Parks and Recreation Department mid-May through the Friday before Labor Day. A complete listing of ticket prices is available in the Department’s summer program booklet, or you may call the Department to inquire about a particular attraction.

7. I have an idea for/I would like a program offered for . . . . .

The Parks and Recreation Department always welcomes your ideas and suggestions for new programs and/or ideas and suggestions to existing programming. Please feel free to write or call us at any time. We’d love to hear from you!

8. How do I obtain a refund for a program my child did not attend?

Unconditional refunds are allowed 2 days prior to the start of a program. Twenty percent of program or usage fees will be assessed as an administrative charge. Illness and/or injury refunds are allowed after the start and before completion of 50% of a program. Fifty percent of the program or usage fees will be assessed as an administrative charge for refunds meeting these criteria. Refunds are not allowed after completion of 50% of a program. Prorated credit toward future registrations will be given for Department-cancelled program dates. Program fees are not transferable to another session or program once the original program or session has started. The Parks and Recretaion Department urges you to call prior to the start of any program your child may not be able to attend. This allows the Department to fill any vacancies with children that may have been placed on a waiting list.
